Sandwich in Photoshop
Using 10 layers create a sandwich in Photoshop-

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open a New Project in Photoshop (720 x 480 Pixels and 300 dpi / resolution)
2. Create a Gradient Background (with the gradient tool) use 2 colors for gradient
3. Find an image of clouds, insert and resize to fit background
4. Apply a blending mode (blending modes are in the drop down menu that says “normal” just above the layers) to the clouds layer
5. Find an image of a ball or round object, use the “quick selection tool” to take out the background (hint: quick selection tool is behind the magic wand)
6. Add a GIANT text layer that you found online - have it say WOW (you need to find it!!)
7. Find a “portrait style picture” and “cut it out” - use the “quick selection tool” or magic wand to get rid of the background
8. Resize the image so that it fits in a corner (doesn’t matter which corner)
9. Find another image to go with the portrait
10. Put the portrait in front or behind the image (using the layers)
12. Apply a glowing effect around your portrait person (double click the layer)
13. Turn your portrait person’s face (only) another color (select, image, adjustment, Hue/saturation)
14. Make their lips looks as though they have some sort of lipstick (as in your self portrait)
15. Put some sort of hat on your portrait picture
16. Add a cool filter to the hat and a drop shadow (double click the layer)
17. Add the following using the type tool “Your Name + Photoshop”
18. Each word must use a different font, size, color,
19. Make SOMETHING black and white (only one thing) do this by (select, image, adjustment, desaturate)
WHEN YOU ARE DONE:
1. Show Ms. G your PSD File2. Export your final image as a JPEG (DO NOT UPLOAD A PSD)
3. Upload to Google classroom. TOTAL: 60 POINTS (-10 if you upload a psd instead of a JPEG)
