Photoshop DIGITAL Self-Portrait
1 - Take a photo using
A) Photo Booth
B) one of my cameras
Please take no more than 15 minutes to take your photo
c) Bring one from home (if you forget it you MUST take one at school)
2 - Open photo in photoshop
3 -Make a copy of your photo and turn off the copy layer (with the eye next to the layer) - you should have only one active photo and one hidden.
4 - Create a new blank layer and place on top of the photo layer.
5 - Using the top layer select a part of your face or photo with the eyedropper tool (this tool will select the actual color of the part you select, you will then use that selected color to “paint” on the blank layer-
TIP:
You can quickly switch or “toggle” between the eyedropper tool to the paintbrush. switch
7 - Once complete or before cut out the background and put a solid color behind your portrait.
8 - Add a “quote” please use a full sentence that you resonate with, something you live by or see as a motto.
9 - Save your work as a JPEG and upload onto google classroom.
